The Alma Quartet are skilled at working with the event organisers to create a programme that will fit your requirements and help make your day special.

Below are some suggestions of how this can be achieved:

The Wedding Ceremony

The Quartet play for half an hour before the ceremony begins. We will then accompany the entrance of the bride, the signing of the register and the departure of the wedding party.  

Musical Suggestions are:

As guests arrive and take their seats

A selection of light Classical music (Mozart Divertimenti for example)

For the entrance of the bride (Processional)  

Handel™s Arrival of the Queen of Sheba or Wagner™s Wedding

During the signing of the register

Pachebel’s Canon, Bachs Air on a G String, or Summer from The Season

For the outgoing procession (Recessional) and departure of the guests

Mendelssohns Wedding March or The Hornpipe from Handels Water Music

The Reception

The Quartet play upon the arrival of the wedding party at the reception and continue throughout the wedding breakfast.

The Wedding Day

We are often asked to combine the two options to provide musical accompaniment and entertainment from half an hour before the ceremony right through to the end of the wedding breakfast.
